A Taste of Home

We scoured the entire World Congress center looking for the lone team from Mississippi. We finally found team #1927 otherwise known as St. Patrick Catholic H.S. They started thier team the same year Hurricane Katrina hit. They were a little disappointed that MSU wasn't represented at the competiton but we did promise to get them in contact with the right folks should they want to tour campus or talk more about the engineering programs at State. They've done alot to reach out and teach others about robotics, including creating a coloring book for use by elementary students. The coloring book introduces children to computers, robotics, and FIRST. Way to go St. Pat's!
